A plan for your first session
Scan for the nearest immediate danger before aiming at a distant target. Keep awareness of the whole play area so a successful shot in one direction does not distract you from a closer attack elsewhere.
A mistake to watch for
Focusing on a single enemy for too long can create a blind spot. After dealing with that threat, deliberately check the opposite side before choosing the next target.

Should I choose targets only by distance?
Distance is a useful starting point, but direction and what the enemy threatens also matter. Choose the threat most likely to cause a problem before your next action.
